What we believe

Our mission, vision and what we do to support neurodiversity

It’s estimated that at least 1 in 10 people are neurodivergent. We are passionate about helping organisations and individuals celebrate the strengths of neurodiversity.

Our Mission

To highlight the strengths of neurodiversity in order to improve the outcomes of neurodivergent people within Australia.

Our Vision

To bring about a world where neurodiversity is valued. Where society supports and celebrates the unique minds of neurodivergent individuals, without negative stigmas. This is our commitment to change.

“One of the most promising developments since the publication of ‘The Geek Syndrome’ has been the emergence of the concept of neurodiversity: the notion that conditions like autism, dyslexia, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) should be regarded as naturally occurring cognitive variations with distinctive strengths that have contributed to the evolution of technology and culture rather than mere checklists of deficits and dysfunctions.”

— Steve Silberman, NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity

What we do

Measure inclusion efforts

The Believe:NeuroDiversity iNDex is a measurement tool that rates how well organisations are progressing in regards to embracing neurodiversity. Through the iNDex data, organisations will be better equipped to create and sustain safe and inclusive environments for neurodivergent talent.

Help organisations thrive

Believe:NeuroDiversity can help workplaces on their neurodiversity journey. We have a range of programs and a number of highly skilled partner organisations that are ready to assist a wide range of needs.

Support our members

We offer safe spaces where neurodivergent individuals can be themselves, find expert support for neurodiverse-related workplace issues and access a community that will focus on their strengths.

Change workplace culture

We help organisations shift their attitudes towards neurodiversity. When workplaces take a strengths-first approach to neuro-inclusion, the impacts are profound for all employees. Embracing neurodiversity results in a happier, more engaged and more productive workforce.
